    Gov't says art. turf contains safe lead levels

    The CPSC testing and estimating found :
    1 sample from a 10 year old field that was 2/3rds of the max. daily limit;
    many samples from new fields found a max of just 1/60th the MDL

    What about all the chemicals that are poured onto the field? That, to me, seems to be a greater concern.

    Turf - maybe. I would like to see high schools return to playing on fields that are muddy, sparsely turfed, etc. Football is to be played outside, in the elements.

    I'd like to see all football played outside on grass. Hot, cold, rain ,shine or snow- part of the game.

    Spoken like a true Bulldog, you forgot the broken glass and rocks though.

    I am not pushing for turf natural grass is the only way to go.
